What is the difference between CBD Hemp Oil and CBD Cannabis Oil?

“Hemp Oil” is actually oil that is derived from “hemp seeds” that are pressed, creating an oil that consists of about 70-90% of polyunsaturated fatty acids(healthy fats) and abundant in omega-3 essential fatty acids, tocopherols and linoleic and linolenic acids. Hemp seed oil could be a very beneficial addition to ones diet.

What is the difference between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate CBD Oil?

A CBD Full-Spectrum product will contain all of the natural compounds found in the plant, including THC. However, the THC levels must not exceed 0.3% to comply with FDA requirements. CBD Broad-Spectrum contains virtually the same natural compounds like the Full-Spectrum, minus all or most of the THC. CBD Isolates is the purest form of CBD and is usually 99% THC free.

What is a CBD Tincture?

A CBD tincture is created by steeping CBD- rich hemp flower in high-proof grain alcohol or food grade ethanol.

Do you need a Medical Marijuana Card to buy CBD?

The following 15 states where both hemp and marijuana are legal, do not require a MMJ card to purchase CBD products: AK, AZ,ME, MT, NJ, CA, CO, IL, NV, MA, OR, MI, SD, VT, and WA. The other remaining 35 may require a card until their state laws change. Check each state that you may be concerned with.

Do drug tests look for CBD?

No, they look for THC but some CBD products may contain more THC than is allowed by law in their products which should be no more than 0.03%, with Georgia and Virginia being the exceptions at 5%. If you are concerned about failing a drug test but still want to benefit from CBD your best choice would be an Isolate.

What is the best way to take CBD oil?

The best way to take CBD oil is to place the oil dropper under the tongue and release the oil, holding it there for 30-60 seconds, allowing the salivary glands to fully absorb the cannabinoids and disperse the oil thorough the bloodstream. This method is called the “sublingual process.”

Are drug interactions possible with CBD?

The short answer is yes. But just like so many other “dietary supplements,” caution should be exercised when using CBD products. CBD is “generally” well-tolerated when used with the guidance of a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare provider. Here are some medications that CBD could have interaction issues with: Acetaminophen-Amiodarone, a heart rhythm medicine-Antidepressants-Anti-seizure drugs including clobazam, lamotrigine, and valproate-Levothyroxine,a thyroid medication-NSAIDS-Opioid pain relievers- Warfarin, a blood thinner. When in doubt, check with your primary physician.
